A Victorian Amethyst dress ringA mid to late Victorian dress ring containing three amethyst gem stones. Centre 6. 5x5. 5mm, each side a round 4mm amethyst, these cabouchon cut (smooth not facetted) The head has fancy work and measures 17x10mm, each shoulder has a forget me know flower and in Victorian days was given as a ring from a loved one. Pretty engraving around the rear of the band makes this a very wearable antique ring. Weight 2 grams. No hallmarks required for this period,
